Geerose Mining Company (GMC) Ltd is a Nigerian-owned natural resource development company focused on the sustainable extraction, processing, and distribution of premium granite and limestone products. Headquartered in Lagos, with operations centered around the rich Obhu Marble Deposit in Okpella, Edo State, Geerose aims to meet the increasing demand for quality natural stone across Nigeria’s booming construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
Geerose Mining site is located at Okpella Community situated on the North-Western part of Etsako - East, Local Government Area of Edo State of Nigeria (Figures below). It lies between latitudes 7 degrees and 7.25 degrees, North and longitudes 6.15 degrees and 6.38 degrees, East of the State. To the North and North-East of the Community is the Ebira Land (IGNIRA) of Okene L.G.A. in Kwara State, to the West is the Akoko-Edo L.G.A. To the South is the Uzairue clan and to the South-East are the North Ibie clans (Okpekpe and the tree Ibies). The site area is on a ridge of rocky hills with massive granite boulders stretching for the East to Ekiti Land in Ondo State
